The meaning behind hand writing cards

The meaning behind hand writing cards

In a world where technology is king, the pastime of hand writing our cards has gone down for some. They simply type and print out a predesigned card on Word, and off it goes. No emotion, no taking the time, just laziness. This is where I prefer to kick it out old school.

See, to me, hand writing a card to someone, is very personal. The time it takes to write that oh so neatly and pretty, because you want them to feel what you’re writing has meaning, at least it does for me. I pour my heart into each arrangement I make. My clients mean everything to me. And so does their happiness. So when I hand write my uplifting cards, sympathy cards, romantic cards, or the “I messed up, I’m sorry cards”, I write them myself, so it has more meaning, or realness, if you will. Not just some print out from a word doc. I want my customers to “feel” the meaning behind that card and those flowers they’re receiving. That’s our job after all.
